Hi there! I’m indie software developer and micropreneur, Ken Johnson.

I founded 8AC Systems, LLC in the Greater Wilkes-Barre Area of Northeast Pennsylvania in 2013. I subscribe to my school’s motto, “That I may serve,”

and love creating solutions that make your life easier, with one less thing

to worry about.

Technology used to be simple, not because designers particularly valued simplicity, but because there was no other way to make it at the time.

Fast-forward to today, and new software tries its hardest to do as much

as possible for as many people as possible. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by features and options built not for you, but for anyone and everyone!

At 8AC Systems, I build bespoke software and apps only for you, from the ground up. I handcraft everything specifically for your purposes. No two customers who hire me ever receive the same software!

The work I produce is what you’d call “opinionated.” All you have to do is tell me what you want your product to accomplish, and I take it from there, with the confidence that I will devise the simplest and best way to support your goals.

I base all my work on the belief that software should solve problems, not create them. It’s how I came up with my tagline: The shortest distance between work begun and job well done ®
